As a former Parents As Teachers Parent Educator and now a Infant/Toddler Services Librarian, I have always received lots of questions about language development. Parents worry that their children aren't talking soon enough and/or clearly enough for their age.

It gives a wonderful overview of the simplicity of encouraging your child's language development, along with charts, developmental guides, even toy recommendations. Written by a speech pathologist and mom, the information is solid and practical.
