I chose some great award winners from Caldecott, to Missouri Library Association Building Block Award winner to Missouri Show Me Readers Award winner (Missouri Association of School Librarians). These are some of the songs we sang during our last Book Nibblers Session.

Up, Down, Turn Around
Up, down (Hold baby's hands up in air then down to floor)

Mother and Father and Uncle John
Mother and Father and Uncle John
Went to the market, one by one.
Mother fell off!
Father fell off!
But Uncle John went on and on, and
on and on and on!

(Jog along until you get to the falling off parts. Mother falls off to one side, father to the other and Uncle John goes on faster!)

Baby Put Your Pants On

Staying out of trouble.
(Draw a circle in baby's palm)

(Slowly creep fingers up baby's arm.)
and...
Gobble, gobble, gobble!
(Tickle baby's underarm or move in for a gobble on baby's neck.)

Let’s tap our feet together because it’s fun to do

The Wheels on the Bus (Tickle Version)
The wheels on the bus go round and round
Round and round, round and round
The wheels on the bus go round and round
All over town
The horn on the bus goes beep beep beep…
The babies on the bus go bounce bounce bounce…
The parents on the bus go tickle tickle tickle…
The babies on the bus go hee hee hee …

Peek-a-boo
Peek-a-boo, Peek-a-boo
I see you. I see you.

Giddyap, giddyap, ride to town,
(bounce baby on knees, facing forward)
Giddyap, giddyap, up and down.
